ER — Emotional Release connects adults for anonymous five-minute conversations by text or voice. Listeners are volunteers or other users — they are not therapists, counselors, or medical professionals.

ER is peer support. It is not therapy, medical advice, crisis counseling, or emergency services. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US).

You must be 18 years or older to use ER. By using the service you confirm you are an adult.

You agree not to: harass, threaten, or abuse other users; attempt to identify, dox, or contact other users outside the session; record, screenshot, or redistribute conversations; use ER for anything unlawful; or impersonate a professional.

The Raw & uncut room permits crude language and adult themes between consenting adults. It never permits content involving minors, planning or threatening violence, or extremist recruitment — those hard limits apply in every room.

Listeners agree to hold space respectfully, keep what they hear private, and never present themselves as licensed professionals.

We may block or restrict access for anyone violating these rules, without notice.

Sessions are anonymous and time-limited. ER does not store conversation contents, but we cannot control what the other person remembers or does. Never share personal identifying details, financial information, or anything you wouldn't want repeated.

If no human listener is available, you may choose to talk with an AI companion. You will always be told when you're talking with the AI.

ER has no sign-ups, accounts, or profiles, and never collects personal information. Listeners agree to only answer when they can genuinely be present.

Using ER does not create a therapist-patient, doctor-patient, or any other professional relationship. ER and its listeners are not liable for decisions you make based on a conversation.

ER is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ER is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including the actions of other users.

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
